Road Trip
We apologize for the temporary lull in reporting on cul-de-sac related matters.

I was coming over with a pecan pie to share! There's a few posts for me to catch up on, so I'll make do with that.
Also: I did see that you are a Confederacy of Dunces fan too. This influence, no doubt, can be detected in your own wry style.
Did you get a housesitter and tell the newspaper man to stop delivery? Nothing irks me more than the vacationing homeowner who overlooks this detail and returns home to a lawn strewn with old news. And what the sun and those plastic bags will do to your lawn!
Sorry I missed the pecan pie! I always seem to be away when there's pie.
Speaking of newspapers, I found an old one on the porch roof a few weeks ago. We used to have a delivery guy who was erratic in actually delivering the paper, as well as his throwing delivery.
